There are no prerequisites for this class, but we highly recommend CPR and First Aid be taken to complement this class and add to your professional skill set.


  • Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS)

    This class provides teenagers and young adults with the information and skills they need to be a safe and successful babysitter.
    It’s taught in a fun and engaging way using a magazine-format CABS guide and vlogger-style video.

    The total class time is approximately 4 hours.
    Students will learn life saving skills in a fun, interactive, no pressure environment.
    There will be lots of hands-on practice and interaction.

    Workbook and certification card are included in the price of the class.

    Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card from the American Safety and Health Institute(ASHI). The card is valid for two years.
